I’m really happy with my lessons with Vanessa. She’s super sweet, and I’ve always dreamed of chatting with a native speaker like this in German. I’m always learning something new, speaking more in German, and as a result, my fluency and vocabulary are improving. I can see real progress: more words I either forgot or didn’t know before, and I learn how to say things differently and more “like a native.”

There’s nothing I don’t like. I really appreciate that my preferences are considered, and we cover both grammar and a lot of speaking. Everything happens in a friendly atmosphere — we giggle, and it’s great that Vanessa remembers things I shared in the previous lesson and asks about them in the next one. It’s nice to feel truly listened to, not just like someone’s pretending, as can happen sometimes.

The lessons are 100/10 comfortable. At first, I felt a little awkward during our first couple of lessons because we didn’t know each other yet, but now everything is perfect :)

Everything else is also great. I’m very satisfied and you’re all amazing!

I’ve been studying with Olya for about six months, and I’d say everything is consistent, with steady progress. We chose the format of reviewing B1 because I already had some fragmented knowledge at this level, but certain areas still needed attention and practice.

At the beginning of our lessons, I had to take the B1 exam due to personal circumstances (which I passed successfully — shoutout to my former teacher Ulyana!). So my level was already certified, but I still needed focus on some details. Now we’re probably nearing the end of the textbook program, and next, we have plans to read a small book in German — I’m confident it will go well!

We started lessons in September 2024, once a week, with small breaks for vacations or other courses, but on a regular basis. I had never studied German before, so I started at level 0.

Olya is fantastic — she explains everything in detail. I especially enjoy her breakdowns of word formation: identifying roots, suffixes, prefixes, original words, and associations — it really helps me remember vocabulary. The exercises and topics are interesting and useful!

The atmosphere is light and friendly. My vocabulary isn’t very large yet, so speaking is still a bit challenging. But I try to listen to Easy German podcasts every day. Of course, they are aimed at higher levels, but I enjoy them and have started understanding spoken German, recognizing many words and phrases — and for me, that’s already meaningful.

Since I learn German at my own pace, without pressure or stress, my progress isn’t fast, but step by step I understand and learn more. That makes me very happy!

I’ve been studying with Kseniia for about six months, and thanks to her, I’ve overcome the language barrier and learned so many new things. Every lesson, I pick up great vocabulary that I later get to use in practice!

Every lesson is full of positive energy — even when I come to class tired after 4–5 university lectures, lessons with Kseniia give me a boost.

We’ve already achieved a lot, and we’re planning to continue progressing and take exams to certify my B2 level!

I highly recommend, and will continue to recommend, lessons with Kseniia. German is truly about love.

From March to July, I was preparing for the A2 exam with Darya, though I felt I could have taken it already in May–June. She’s a wonderful teacher, always accommodating, and explains everything clearly and in detail — even when it touches on topics above my level. She really helps me not to be afraid of the language.

Lessons are engaging, with lots of useful information and speaking practice tailored to my personal goals. I’m so glad I found your school!

Hello 😁 I finally found some time and just have to leave a glowing review about my lessons with Vanessa.

She is very attentive and results-oriented. I asked her to go over grammar topics I didn’t fully understand, and the exercises were chosen logically and thoughtfully. I also asked her to cover job interview topics — that was fantastic too: we went through the necessary vocabulary, planned the interview, and even simulated it. I already feel much more confident.

A big plus is that during lessons I don’t have the option to switch to Russian. If she doesn’t understand me, I have to find other words and explain differently what I mean — which is amazing for training my brain and improving my speaking skills. I’m very happy to have the opportunity to study with Vanessa!

I received my TELC B1 exam results yesterday — and I got a very good result.

I would like to thank you, and especially Sonya, for all your help. Passing this exam was the goal of my studies, so I’ve decided to pause my lessons for now, as it feels like the logical next step for me.

I plan to have my last lesson with Sonya on Monday to say goodbye. I may come back to continue lessons in the future.

Hello! Sorry for not writing sooner — I’m on vacation and got a bit distracted 🙈

I’d like to start by saying that Svetlana really enjoys her lessons with Vanessa. Of course, studying with a native speaker at a lower level isn’t always easy, but Svetlana’s main goal was to develop her speaking skills and overcome the fear of communicating — and she’s already doing much better!
